August Workshops

August brings fun things to learn at Sweet Success' workshops. Join us for Thai cooking class. Hone your cake decorating skills with the buttercream flower piping class. You can even have a bonding activity with your child in the cake decorating with Mommy class.

1) Thai Cooking Class
- Date: Aug. 5, 2017 (Saturday)
- Time: 9AM - 4PM
- Instructor: Abner Gosiaco

- In this hands on class, you will learn how to cook:

* Tom Yum Goong

* Green Pork Curry

* Pandan Leaf Chicken

2) NEW! - Cake Decorating with Mommy
- Date: Aug. 6, 2017 (Sunday)
- Time: 9 AM – 11:00 AM
- Inclusions: 5” x 4” chocolate cake, apron and certificate
- In this hands on class, you will learn how to:

* Use buttercream to cover a small cake

* Decorate using buttercream, KitKat and M&M chocolates
- Course fee: Php 2,500/pair

3) 2 Tier Fondant Cake Decorating Class (Intermediate)
- Date: Aug. 12, 2017 (Sunday)
- Time: 9AM - 6PM
- Inclusions: apron, lunch, snack, handouts and certificate
- In this hands on class, you will learn how to:

* Cover edible and dummy cake

* Dowel and stack tiered cakes

* Make gum paste rose

4) Basic Bread Making Class

5) NEW! - Buttercream Flower Piping Class 1 (Crescent Design)
- Date: Aug. 26, 2017 (Saturday)
- Time: 9AM - 5PM
- Instructor: Jing Fernandez of Sorelle Floral Cakes and Class
- Inclusions: 6” x 4” cake, apron, lunch, handouts and certificate
- In this hands on class, you will learn to:

* Make a smooth and stable buttercream recipe that can withstand heat

* Pipe roses, chrysanthemums, hydrangea and blossom

* Learn the fundamental techniques of color harmony

* Create a spring themed cake in crescent arrangement

- Course fee: Php 4,800
