July Workshops

July brings fun things to learn at Sweet Success' workshops.  Join us for dimsum or Japanese cooking classes.  Hone your cake decorating skills with the basic fondant cake decorating or the buttercream decorating classes.  You can even have your child learn to bake with you in the Bake with Mommy class.

1.  Homemade Chinese Dimsum
- Date: July 1, 2017 (Saturday)
- Time: 9AM - 4PM
- In this hands on class, you will learn to make:
   * Siomai
   * Wonton
   * Lumpiang Shanghai
   * Shrimp Balls
   * Steamed Ribs with Taosi
- Course fee: Php 3,500 inclusive of apron, lunch, handouts and certificate

2.  Cupcake Baking Class 1
- Date: July 2, 2017 (Sunday)
- Time: 9AM - 4PM

- In this hands on class, you will learn to bake:
   * Mocha Cupcakes & Coffee Buttercream
   * Vanilla Cupcakes & Vanilla Buttercream
   * Red Velvet & Cream Cheese Frosting
   * Salted Caramel Cupcakes
- Course fee: Php 3,300 inclusive of handouts, apron, lunch and certificate

3. Basic Fondant Cake Decorating Class – Clothesline
- Date: June 3, 2017 (Sat)
- Time: 9AM - 6PM
- In this hands on class, you will learn:
   * how to make marshmallow fondant and tylose gumpate
   * coloring techniques
   * how to cover dummy cake
  * how to make edible 3D teddy bear
  * how to make fondant decors
- Course fee: Php 4,000 inclusive of apron, lunch, snack, handouts and certificate

4.  Japanese Cooking Class
- Date: July 16, 2017 (Sunday)
- Time: 9AM - 3PM
- Instructor: Abner Gosiaco
- In this hands on class, you will learn to cook:
   * Okonomiyaki (savory cabbage pancake)
   * Shrimp tempura soba
   * Katsudon
   * Matcha pudding
- Course fee: Php 3,700 inclusive of handouts, apron, lunch and certificate

5.  Buttercream Cake Designs 2
- Date: July 29, 2017 (Saturday)
- Time: 9AM - 4PM- In this hands on class, you will learn to:
   * bake a chocolate cake
   * make buttercream icing
   * decorate your cake using 4 techniques: 2 kinds of horizontal ruffles, stacked ruffle,

      and flower petal- Course fee: Php 3,700 inclusive of 8"x4" chocolate cake, apron, handout, lunch and certificate

6.  Bake with Mommy
- Date: July 30, 2017 (Sunday)
- Time: 9AM - 11:30AM
- In this hands on class, you will learn:
   * how to bake thumbprint butter cookies
   * how to bake and decorate chocolate cupcakes
- Course fee: Php 2,400/pair inclusive of apron, handouts and certificate
