September Workshops

Spice up your September with new cooking classes at Sweet Success.  This month, we have Singaporean cooking and Healthy Cooking classes.  Also offered are Cupcake Baking class, Buttercream & Fondant Cake Decorating classes and Homemade Chinese Dimsum class.

1) Singaporean Cooking Class
- Date: September 9, 2017 (Saturday)
- Time: 9AM - 3PM
- Instructor: Abner Gosiaco
- In this hands on class, you will learn how to cook:
     * salted egg prawns
     * seafood laksa
     * Hainanese chicken rice
     * kaya spread
- Course fee: Php 3,700 inclusive of apron, lunch, handouts and certificate

2) Basic Fondant Cake Decorating Class – Clothesline 
- Date: September 10, 2017 (Sunday)
- Time: 9AM - 6PM
- In this hands on class, you will learn:
     * how to make marshmallow fondant and tylose gumpate
     * coloring techniques
     * how to cover dummy cake
     * how to make edible 3D teddy bear
     * how to make fondant decors
- Course fee: Php 4,000 inclusive of apron, lunch, snack, handouts and certificate

3) Healthy Cooking Class
- Date: September 16, 2017 (Saturday)
- Time: 9AM - 3PM
- Instructor: Abner Gosiaco
- In this hands on class, you will learn how to make:
     * baked balsamic chicken & veggies
     * easy vegetable creamy soup (no cream or milk)
     * salad with 3 different dressings (Caesar, honey mustard & avocado cilantro dressings)
     * garlic shrimp with quinoa
- Course fee: Php 3,400 inclusive of apron, lunch, handouts and certificate

4) Easy Buttercream Cake Designs 1
- Date: September 17, 2017 (Sunday)
- Time: 9AM - 4PM

- In this hands on class, you will learn how to:
     * bake a chocolate cake
     * make buttercream icing

     * decorate your cake using 4 techniques:
          - horizontal stripes

          - vertical stripes

          - rosettes

          - petal flowers
- Course fee: Php 3,700 inclusive of 8"x4" chocolate cake, apron, lunch, handouts and certificate

5) Cupcake Baking Class 2

 - Date: September 23, 2017 (Saturday)
- Time: 9 AM – 4 PM
- In this hands on class, you will learn how to bake:
      * brownie cupcakes
     * black forest cupcakes
     * cheese-filled cupcakes
     * lemon poppy seed cupcakes
- Course fee: Php 3,300 inclusive of apron, lunch, handouts and certificate

6) Homemade Chinese Dimsum

- Date: September 30, 2017 (Saturday)
- Time: 9AM - 3PM
- In this hands on class, you will learn to make:

     * Siomai

     * Wonton

     * Lumpiang Shanghai

     * Shrimp Balls

     * Steamed Ribs with Taosi

- Course fee: Php 3,500 inclusive of apron, lunch, handouts and certificate
